Posts to the user's own wall can be restricted to be visible to only certain users. Tapping the lock icon in the recipient field of the message composition screen displays the privacy screen. Any of the user's custom friend lists or one of Facebook's built-in privacy categories may be selected. When the post is made, only users in the permitted category or on the permitted list will see the post.
