Overview

Emoti offers 192 custom-made high-resolution emoticons for use in Facebook posts.

It features free downloadable emoticon updates; posting to friend, group, and page walls; emoticon sorting; and support for privacy controls.

It comes in four variants, separate paid apps for iPad and iPhone (and iPod touch), a free iAd-supported app for iPhone, and a Christmas-themed special edition for iPhone.

Easy to Use

  1. Tap the emoticon you want to share.
  2. Tap the Connect with Facebook button and enter your account info.
  3. Type your message.
  4. If you want to post to someone else's wall, select a recipient.
  5. Tap Share. If you quit Emoti, the message will be sent in the background.
  6. If you'd like to see your message on the wall, tap the Show button.

Details

In order to ensure that messages are successfully published, each post is verified immediately after completion. If publication fails, appropriate recovery options are offered to the user.

The app makes use of both the Old REST and Graph Facebook APIs, favoring Graph when required features are available. A custom request class handles all communication with Facebook's servers, processes the results, and allows multiple requests to be queued or sent simultaneously.
